A huge to welcome to Lakeland Campers. We have a stunning classic 1969 Volkswagen Bay window campervan called Dolly which has been completely restored and is fully equipped to help you enjoy a holiday to remember. Lakeland Campers is run by Colin and Amy from our family farm on the edge of the beautiful Lake District.

Our VW camper is based just outside Kendal in Cumbria 5 minutes from the M6 junction 37. You will be spoilt for choice for where to go as we have the fabulous award winning Lake District National Park on our doorstep and are only 10 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and only an hour from Scotland. Starting your trip with Dolly the campervan couldn't be easier; you can leave your car with us safely tucked up in our garage or we can also arrange to collect you from Oxenholme the Lake District Train Station, or Manchester/Liverpool airports for an additional small charge.

Our VW Camper Van is a classic vehicle which puts the fun back into driving, leaving you smiling and rest assured that others will be smiling at you too, so don’t forget to wave!
